Why DT

"Double Take holds such a special place in my heart, and it has from the moment I stepped into the audition room. You will hear this probably from any person within any group, but seriously, there’s something special about DT. I knew from the moment that I suddenly was able to sing in front of other people without shaking that I had found my place. And it’s not just that I “fit”, it’s that the people in DT made and continue to make me feel welcome, loved, and supported, in every possible way. In just a semester, this group has become my family away from home, people I can come to in good times and bad(and have). The heart of being in Double Take and why I choose to be a part of it is our passion for making music with people we love and relate to, and to me having such strong bonds within the group is what makes the music sound even sweeter ❤️🖤" - Sarah Allen
